A young man raised in the jungle by gorillas, Tarzan is full of curiousity about where he comes from and why he's different from his ape family.
The daughter of a zoologist, she comes to the jungle to study the gorillas. She is as spirited as she is beautiful.
A hunter who comes to the jungle to serve as a guide for the gorilla researchers. His true motives become clear over the course of the expedition.
Terk is Tarzan's cousin and best friend. Terk is rather wild and uncontrollable and often gets in to trouble with Kerchak.
Kerchak is the leader of the gorilla pack and Tarzan's adoptive father. Although Kerchak won't admit it he cares deeply for Tarzan and he would do anything to protect his adoptive son.
Kala is Kerchak's mate and Tarzan's adoptive mother. Kala is the one who found Tarzan in the abandoned tree house and raised him as her own.
Sabor is the murderous leopard of Deep Jungle. He killed Kala and Kerchak's real son as well as Tarzan's parents. During Sora's adventure in Deep Jungle he is attacked several times by Sabor.
